La Luna Rhythmic Gymnastic Academy would like to welcome you and your family to the Rhythmic gymnastics program here in the greatest Kirkland area. You are about to embark on a very exciting journey into the world of Rhythmic gymnastics. The following contains some basic information about the program which will help give you a better understanding and appreciation of the sport.
This program has been designed by the USA Gymnastics Federation and is introduced to you by Arzu Karaali (Olympics coach and choreographer). La Luna’s entire staff of coaches are highly trained professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience and are all USGFsafety certified.
Our purpose for offering the program is to introduce students to the beauty and grace of Rhythmic Gymnastics and to help them develop positive thinking and self-esteem, self-motivation, patience, courage and goal setting. The health and safety of each gymnast is the Academy’s top concern. Our Mission statement is:
La Luna Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy is also interested in training gymnasts for competition. Our policy is to encourage each child to not only train to become proficient, but to also train with purpose. We value the dedication and perfection that competitive gymnastics develops and train the gymnasts accordingly.
Rhythmic gymnastics is a beautiful Olympic sport but not very well known yet in the USA and many academies are finding it hard to keep their programs running. The USGF is trying to address this issue and offer support and assistance in introducing this beautiful sport across the country. We feel very fortunate to be able to afford to train in one of the best facilities in our region. We are also proud to announce our latest success of being able to send the average of 80% of our gymnasts to the national every year in the past few year in row.
