SUMMER CAMP WEEK 9: Shine Bright Like A Diamond (8/17-8/21)
💎 Shine Bright Like a Diamond
Lila was a little girl who sometimes felt small. In a world full of tall trees, bright stars, and busy bees, she worried that she didn’t shine as brightly as everyone else.
One evening, she wandered into the garden and noticed something sparkling in the soil. It was a tiny, glowing diamond-shaped stone. She picked it up, and it hummed warmly in her hand.
“Why do you shine?” Lila asked softly.
The little diamond seemed to smile. “Because I am me,” it whispered. “You shine, too, when you let your heart glow.”
Lila thought about all the times she helped a friend, shared her toys, or told someone a kind word. Slowly, she felt a warm sparkle in her chest. She wasn’t the tallest, the fastest, or the loudest — but her light was special.
From that day on, Lila walked through the world shining her way — not trying to be anyone else, but bright like her own diamond. And everywhere she went, little sparks of kindness followed, lighting up even the darkest corners.
“Shine bright,” she whispered to herself each morning,
“because my light is my own.”
